The Flaming Lips, Eventim Apollo, London - 28th April 2023
The venue was beautiful and the band amazing. It's a shame it ran over the advertised finish of 10:45pm as I had to catch my train I had pre-booked - missing the last song. Ah well.

The Flaming Lips, Troxy, London - 25th April 2023
Flaming Lips never fail to disappoint, and this was particularly special as it was the 20th anniversary of Soft Bulletin - a superb album. We had giant balloons, glitter, animal costumes and fantastic music. Great crowd too.

The Flaming Lips, O2 Academy Brixton, London - 7th September 2019
Whoever got Flaming Lips into Cambridge Junction deserves a medal. The band out on a full show inside this small venue. We got Wayne riding a unicorn through the crowd. Wayne in a bubble surfing across the crowd, the giant inflatable rainbow and dancing eyeballs and a perfect greatest hits sets amongst other delights. Mind. Blown.

The Flaming Lips, Cambridge Junction, Cambridge - 23rd July 2018
Pure joy from start to finish. They pulled out all the stops despite the Junction being a small venue. We had streamers fired from rockets, loads of massive balloons bouncing around the audience, Wayne riding a unicorn through the crowd whilst wearing rainbow inflatable angel wings, massive inflatable eyeballs, a huge Pink Robot, the rainbow arc. Wayne even managed to zorb over the audience while singing Space Oddity. So much love and joy in the room both from the band and the audience. If you ever get the chance you must go and see this band.
