The concert being in a university campus meant I was surrounded by people my age, you could hear the band rehearsing throughout the campus as we were waiting for open doors. The performance itself was interstellar, the live music is so much louder than the recorded songs & the drums were so prominent. Listening to Slowdive’s music normally makes me feel so emotional so hearing it live was just.. the absolute peak. It’s been almost a day and I’m still recovering emotionally from this concert. Thank you Slowdive, seeing you perform and seeing all your faces was a treasure.

A very welcome return to a very unique band who turned their amps up to 11 to please a very appreciative audience, thank you.

Slowdive, Roundhouse, London - 13th October 2017
Ive wanted to see Slowdive live for long time-finally got to to see them last friday. 5 hours travelling time to see them but well worth it. Quality of the music was superb. Quite a small venue which i prefer-reminded me of seeing cocteau twins in cardiff 30 years ago. Hopefully see Slowdive again in the future.

Slowdive, O2 Academy Oxford, Oxford - 2nd June 2017
Very good show, guitars and drums sounded great especially the new songs. the one criticism I have is the vocals are way too low which I accept is the genre of music however if you see Ride live the vocals are very clear. I just believe it takes a little away from the show

Slowdive are pioneers of the shoegaze movement and are one of the biggest cult bands of all time.
The Reading-based five-piece was formed in 1989 and currently consists of Nick Chaplin (bass), Rachel Goswell (vocals, guitar), Neil Halstead (vocals, guitar) Christian Savill (guitar) and Simon Scott (drums).
They have released five studio albums, including Just for a Day (1991), Souvlaki (1993), Pygmalion (1995), Slowdive (2017) and Everything Is Alive (2023).
