Police Dog hogan were superb. Great band, terrific songs and superb musicianship -what's not to like? And Sons Of Town Hall were one of the best support acts I've seen for a long, long time.

A great rage of unique songs, played by talented individuals. Enjoyed the Support act 'Town Hall Men' as well. Only spoiled by the photographers running around the Chapel getting in the audiences way.

Led by singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist James Studholme, Police Dog Hogan are characterized by their husky ballads and forlorn anthems. Drawing on blues and Americana, the West Country band paint vivid pictures with throaty vocals and a sepia tined sound.
Best known for their powerful song “Devon Brigade”, an emotive reminder of the courage and the tremendous sacrifice of the ordinary young men dragged into the horrors of The Great War. It would see Police Dog Hogan nominated for Song of the Year at the 2018 Americana Music awards.
