The last time I saw Lloyd play was with the Commotions in 1988! I had been very much looking forward to this one man show and he did not disappoint. The mixture of songs played and him playing on despite clearly being in pain with a bad hand was absolutely incredible. I shall be keeping an eye out for when i can see him live next. Fantastic night.

Lloyd Cole, Komedia Bath, Bath - 10th September 2024
In spite of feeling "under the weather" Lloyd delivered a masterful performance of the back catalogue from Commotions days, plus all the new stuff. Highlights : "Are You Ready To Be Heartbroken", "Rattlesnakes", "No Blue Skies", "Forest Fire".

Lloyd Cole, The Albert Hall, Nottingham - 29th October 2023
Lloyd Cole's concert exceeded our expectations by far. We know the venue is extraordinary but the sound was also excellent. Having expected a stripped out solo acoustic/keyboard-led first half, we were treated to full band playing songs from the entire length of his career over the two. The musicians (two Commotions Neil and Blair and the wonderful drummer/percussionist Signy Jakobsdottir) played with spirit but also nuance and the songs had a distinctive live sound. We also enjoyed the pre-concert dinner in the bar which although quite pricey, was really tasty and all were satisfied. I believe the money raised goes to a good cause so worth supporting.

Lloyd Cole, Union Chapel, London - 21st October 2023
An amazing 2 hour performance by LC. Love the original members of group and lady on drums. Guitar, keyboard and singing brilliant. Lyrics are always exceptional. Always looking forward to a new album every year or two. Been at LC gigs since 1986 at Milton Keynes Bowl as a student. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes LC, a good melody, depth and character in music.
