Despite the snow, Sheffield turned up in force to welcome BBC and they didn’t disappoint. Joyful performance, fabulous atmosphere and great music. Their energy and commitment to their creative sound was inspiring. A great concert ❤️

Bombay Bicycle Club, O2 Academy Oxford, Oxford - 18th October 2023
I have loved Bombay Bicycle Club for a decade - maybe more? - but last night after seeing them live a few times, I think it was my favourite gig. I genuinely had such a lovely, wholesome time as a solo gig-goer. Not just because people got engaged on stage (!!!) and then they dedicated a song to someone who was about to have a baby (WHOLESOME TIMES TWO) but it was just such a lovely, positive gig and as someone who cannot face the pit of mosh anymore at concerts (I’m old now dear reader) I had a lovely time bopping away to the classic hits (Shuffle, Always Like This etc) and their new album. 12/10 night, highly recommend to a friend, treat yourself to a ticket. Also shout out to all of the friendly humans at the O2 Oxford and of course to the guys on stage - was fabulous. Looking forward to the next album ❤️
